Shipping Information:

Domestic Shipping (US):  All orders shipping within the United States will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail (2 -3 day delivery) unless otherwise indicated by the customer at the time of checkout.

International Shipping:  At this time we are unable to accept orders for shipping internationally

Orders are automatically slotted for USPS delivery.  You will have several options with USPS and UPS to select during checkout.  Fees are indicated in the checkout area for each delivery type. Shipping cost is generated by the dollar amount of sale regardless of size and weight of shipment.    

We know how quilters get about timing of product delivery (we are quilters too). We try and expedite orders quickly to our customers, however, occasionally we will be out of town for shows and events.  If this is the case and we are expected to be out longer than 72 hours, there will be a note provided that this is the case and shipment may be delayed.  Shipping is only completed Mon – Friday.  All orders created over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following week.

Product Availability

We work hard to ensure our website is up to date on items available. When you order items from our website, there is sometimes an overlap in sales and product may not be available. If product has been ordered and is on its way to the shop location, we may hold your order for a few days before shipping.  If product is not available, we will notify you by email or phone with an estimated time of delivery based on supplier availability and shipping.

Returns Policy:

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We will accept returns within 30 days of shipping date.  Please review information below carefully for requirements and exceptions.

Required Notification of Return:  You must notify us of return in advance, all products returned without notification will be “returned to sender”. Additional information will be required of customer prior to acceptance of return. Name, phone number, email, shipping address and original receipt of purchase.  Return shipment costs are at the expense of the customer. There are some restrictions to returns as indicated below.

Fabric and Copyright Items: We do not accept returns on fabric items, patterns or books, DVD's software or downloadable items (books/patterns).

Packaged Product: Returns accepted for store credit if packaging is “like new”, not opened and undamaged (packaging and product). If we receive packaged product that is not in “like new” condition there will be a 25% restocking fee and store credit for remaining balance.

Special Orders: Special orders will have a 25% restocking fee and must be in “like new” condition.  Not opened and undamaged (package and product).  Store credit will be given for the remaining balance.  Special ordered sewing machines and sewing furniture will be paid for in full prior to ordering and is non-returnable.

Damaged or Defective Product:  It is rare that a product would be delivered damaged, but we understand that things do happen.  We must be notified within 14 days of shipment of damaged or defective product. We will pay for shipping required to return the product to us and will promptly replace the item. Please note that some items are unique and it may be required to replace with a “like item” versus an exact duplicate.  Exception of furniture delivered directly to customer shipping address. These must be noted on the freight bill at time of delivery.

Quilting Services:

We offer digital Edge to Edge quilting services on our state of the art Gammill Optimum with Statler Stitcher. We care for quilts as if they are our own.  Your quilt will be stored in a smoke free, pet free environment.  When you send a quilt to us you understand that the following may occur.

Tucks and Puckers:  Unfortunately most quilts will have some puckers and tucks and we do not guarantee that they won’t. There are ways to minimize these during the construction phase (refer to Pricing and Preparation Guide on how to minimize this.) We do not cut on quilts. If your quilt is delivered with extra fullness in borders, you may have corners that are not square to the quilt and will have puckers.  The flatter your quilt top is the better the quilting will be.

Mechanical Errors: Ourmachine is well maintained and runs regularly to ensure it is properly oiled and in good working condition. We rarely have an issue with our machine, however it is a mechanical device and a rare mechanical defect could occur and cause minor damage to your quilt top or back. When sending your quilt top to us, you understand that this is a possibility.

Design Expectations:  Unfortunately it is sometimes difficult to visualize what the end product is when you select a design. We may make suggestions but ultimately the decision is yours unless you turn that option over to us.  Please understand we will not make reimbursements for designs that did not come out as you had visualized.

 
Sewing Machine Repair: 

As an official JANOME sewing machine dealership, our sewing machine technician is trained directly by JANOME of America and receives additioal training each time a new  machine is introduced.   We offer full service cleaning/maintenance and repair on JANOME sewing machines.
