This is an easy project that will show you 2 different methods of making half-square triangles, and piecing a 9-patch. We will explain the terminology and make it an easy, fun-filled experience.

Directions will be provided to make 4 tulips to be set in a topper as pictured. You could make a runner with 3 - 4 or 5 Tulips.

Materials:

1/2 yd background fabric
1 fat quarter for each flower
(4 ) 2 1/2” squares for flower centers
1 fat quarter leaves
1/2 yd smashing fabric
