Beginning Hand Quilting

Learn a skill from yester-year.  There's something calming about hand crafts and quilting is no exceptiont  There’s much to be learned including the use of proper tools, basting and quilting stitches, types of batting, thimbles, marking tools, thread, hoops and frames as you stitch a lovely 18″ wholecloth quilt. Enhance your quilting experience and learn first hand how enjoyable hand quilting can be!

What you need to bring:

Class Supply List:

Two  18 inch squares of solid fabric

One 18 inch square of low loft quilt batting

One spool of quilting thread

One package of quilting betweens size 10

#2 pencil or blue water soluble marker

One 14 inch hand quilting hoop(not to be mistaken for embroidery hoops!)

Pattern will be provided by instructor.

Class instructor will also have kits available for a fee of  $15 (does not include quilting hoop).
