Hello There!
It's starting, Fall is almost here. You can feel it in the air as it begins to be a little crisper in the evenings and sweeping the porch just a little bit more. With Fall comes Festivals, Garage Sales, and Retreats.  Well here in Warsaw, we have "Heritage Days" coming October 15 & 16. This is an annual event where old crafts and new crafts come together.  At the "Overlook" Truman Visitors Center, 19th century crafts are demonstrated. Of course there will be a Quilt Show with hand quilted quilts, in addition to rug hooking, soap making, basket weaving, and more, while on the Harbor, modern day crafts of jewelry making, rug making, and way too many to mention here. But a great place to look for unique and handmade gifts for the Holidays. If you are like me, all those crafts just get my creative juices going and ideas start flying through my mind, but then reality sometimes sets in, and I have to weigh the options of possibly never making it or just go ahead and buy it, after all if you love it, why mess with someone else's perfection.

During Heritage Days, City's Edge will have special hours to accommodate our customers near and far. We will be open on Saturday at 9am -4pm and will be open Sunday 10am - 3pm. On Saturday 15th, we will be having a Clearance Sale of Fabrics, Kits, and Quilt Samples to make room for the incoming fabrics, kits, and samples. In addition, we are hosting a Garage Sale of Crafting Supplies.  Many of us have tried our hand at many different crafts in our time or have been given/inherited items, Knitting, Crocheting, Jewelry Making, Scrap Booking, etc and have collected some great tools that can be shared with individuals that are just starting up in these crafts. Thus, making room for more of the supplies we really want to support our craft today.
