Christmas in July Kick-off
Hope this note is finding everyone focused on projects in a cool area during this heat.
We had our first "Stocking Day" in our Open Sew this past weekend. Thank you to Nancy & Thelma who spent the entire day sewing and Karen and Donna who stopped in to sew some and take a few home. Between the ladies efforts we made apx. 100 Stockings for the Christmas for Kids of Benton County. These stockings are pre-cut with donated fabrics (thank you Sherri, Jannell & Nancy) and will be stuffed later in the year. Our next Open Sew is Tuesday July 26. If you would like to stop in to sew a few any time you are available we will have a couple of machines set up.

CLASSES!
Block Party - This week! Friday 10 - 3.
This Friday we will be working on two Holiday Projects during our Block Party. We will be making a No-Sew ornament along with Christmas stockings out of 2.5" mini-charms. We will watch Jenny's Video from MSQC along with other demonstrations for easy accurate piecing. Bring your lunch and your finished BLOCK Projects for Show and Tell. |
Quilt As You Go!
We will be making the Beaded Curtain Table Runner. Beautiful Table Runner . Make one for yourself or as a Gift. We have kits available for Christmas or Fall Option. If using your own fabrics - call store after sign up for material requirements.

Cookie Exchange!
Of course you have heard of the Holiday Cookie Exchange. We are just getting a little head start. We are making an Apron with MODA fabrics "Cookie Exchange", it has traditional cookie recipes printed on the fabric and trading family favorites. Kit is included in class cost with pattern required. Bring a sampling of cookies with your cookie recipe to share.
